Inspired by the windows of Natural History museums and the optical boxes that have amazed me since childhood, dioramas are an extension of my studio photographic work.
Wishing to produce a tangible object and no longer to give the mere representation or an interpretation of a subject, I have designed stagings in a miniature space specially set.
"Unlike the photographic image which dematerializes, the diorama offers a presence."
Even more than the "shooting", the three-dimensional scale model gives the illusion of a dream space, allowing the viewer to grasp it in its entirety and to enter it.
